F2 Collections Beat VVR At US Premieres

Congratulatory messages are pouring in for Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej from all quarters. Their hard work on the much-awaited F2: Fun and Frustration seems to have paid off. Looking at the current trend, the movie is all set to become a blockbuster hit this year.

According to audience opinion on twitter, Venky mama is back! F2: Fun and Frustration is a real Sankranthi treat for movie buffs and Telugu audiences. With positive talk for F2, Dil Raju who is the producer of the movie is believed to be relieved.

Recently, we heard the news that Dil Raju protesting against allotting more theatre screens for dubbed movies especially Petta and Viswasam. It a known fact that Dil Raju bought the rights of Vinaya Vidheya Rama and also produced F2. So he wanted the films to get more screens given the market for Telugu movies in Nizam and ceded areas too. Rumours doing the rounds suggest that Dil Raju could replace Vinaya Vidheya Rama with F2 in theatres as the latter has opened to positive talk which could help boost the collections. He has realized that this is the right time to use theatres wisely as Telugu states have a week’s holiday for students and extended long weekend for employees.

Grapevine suggests that Venky-Varun's F2 has beaten Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama premieres collections on foreign shores. Going by the tweet which caught our attention, F2 managed to rake in $188,424 from across 88 locations while Vinaya Vidheya Rama has collected $180,074 from 138 Locations. If this be true, then F2 will emerge as the Sankranthi winner this year. This is just the beginning of F2 creating records. We bet F2: Fun and Frustration is going to set new benchmarks at the box office. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi and also features Tamannah and Mehreen in the lead roles.
