Simmba Ranveer’s Career Best Beats Bajirao Mastani At Box Office
Ranveer Singh had a plentiful year in 2018. He scored two blockbuster hits with period drama Padmavaat and a cop drama Simmba which are critically acclaimed and received love from the viewers. That's not all, he got married to his lady love the most gorgeous actress, Deepika Padukone. Rangers won't stop giving reasons for his fans to celebrate the moment.
Ranveer Singh's latest offering Simmba which released around Christmas is going great guns at the box office. The film has been certified as a super hit soon after it movie joined the Rs 100 Crore club in its opening weekend. Simmba is a remake of Telugu blockbuster hit Temper which starred Jr NTR in the lead role. The makers of Simmba have bought the rights of Temper but they haven't copied every scene in the Telugu movie. According to sources, they have changed the script to suit the sensibilities of North India. Simmba was directed by Rohit Shetty who has taken only a few scenes from Temper. Rohit Shetty is a hit machine on a winning spree.

Simmba has set several records at the box office. On a dull Monday, for Ranveer fans, we have good news. Ranveer's Simmba is all set to surpass the collection of Bajirao Mastani. The movie would very soon become the second highest grosser in Ranveer Singh's career. Simmba has become the fourth highest grossing Hindi film of 2018. Simmba marks the second film of Sara Ali Khan and her first film with Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty. Sara Ali Khan had apparently requested Rohit Shetty to feature her in the movie. Her debut movie was Kedarnath which went on become a commercial hit at the box office.
