After KGF Strikes Gold, Will Yash Vacate Lucky House Taken On Rent In Banashankari?

Yash - Sakshi Post

Kannada actor Yash is riding high following the success of his latest release KGF Chapter 1. The film is minting gold at the box office and doing unstoppable business. The makers and the actor are on cloud nine. But who's happier are not Yash's parents but the landlord of the house in Banashankari where Yash stays. The house is owned by a doctor couple to whom yash owes a rent of a whopping Rs 23 lakhs. The court had set Decmeber 31 as the deadline for the family to pay up. That is not it, they have also been directed to vacate the house by 31 March this year. The house was taken for a rent of Rs 40000 per month for a period of eleven months. The agreement was to be renewed on the condition of hiking the rent by 5%. The owners had held a press meet saying Yash's mom Pushpa and the actor's fans were threatening them and approached the court for their eviction on the grounds that their tenants refused to pay the hiked rent whose arrears amoounted to a whopping 13 lakhs! The landlords also accused Yash's family of running a chit fund business in a residential property.

On the other hand, Yash's family defended saying that they had spent a whopping Rs 12.5 lakhs on renovating the house and the landlords could adjust the same for rent arrears. The court however struck down their contention saying there was no evidence to prove their expenditure. Yash's mom Pushpa will now have to vacate the premises after paying the arrears.

Meanwhile, it is being said that the family is not keen on vacating the rented house as it has proved lucky for them. When the family moved into the house, Yash was a lesser known star. However, the house proved lucky for him as his career took off thereafter. Ever since the family continues to keep the Banashankari house as office while they have moved to a bigger house. It now remains to be seen if Yash will vacate the lucky house.
