Dhanush Puts Nagarjuna Project On Hold?

Dhanush, Nagarjuna - Sakshi Post

Looks like Akkineni Nagarjuna is looking forward to multi starrer movies instead of solo movies. His last film , Devadas which also starred Nani in a lead role went on to become a decent hit at the box office. After the success of Devadas, Nagarjuna hasn't announced his next Telugu film details and is apparently busy with Tamil and Hindi movies.

Those who don't know, Nagarjuna is going to play a prominent role in Ranbir-Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra which is slated to release during Christmas 2019. On the other hand, Nagarjuna has committed to one more Tamil movie with Dhanush. Earlier, the role was offered to Superstar Rajinikanth.

It has learnt, Rajinikanth has rejected it citing date issues. The makers who were looking for an established senior actor have approached Nagarjuna. They have zeroed in on Nagarjuna for Dhanush's untitled movie. Reports are doing the rounds that Dhanush movie with Nagarjuna has been shelved. Reason behind hints that Dhanush's recent outing Maari 2 has become a dud at the box office.

Dhanush who was supposed to start the shoot of untitled film has kept it on hold for awhile. According to sources, Dhanush has announced his next project Asuran and it will go on floors in the first week of January. More details about the Dhanush-Nagarjuna's movie are awaited.
