NTR Kathanayakudu Sold To Amazon Prime Video For Record Price, Balayya Beats Chiru’s Sye Raa

The much awaited NTR biopic Kathanayakudu stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan in lead roles. The shoot has been wrapped up. Currently, the movie is in its post-production stage. On the other hand, the filmmakers are not leaving any stone unturned to promote the movie. They are promoting it on all platforms to reach a large number of people. Those who joined late to this story, Balakrishna is set to grace Rana's most loved celebrity talked show No.1 Yaari show this Sunday.

It is worth mentioning here that Balakrishna’s NTR has surpassed the record set by the atcor’s arch-rival Chiranjeevi in terms of movie rights. Looks like Balakrishna is setting a new benchmark for upcoming movies. If reports doing the rounds is any indication, NTR Kathanayakudu has been sold to Amazon Prime Video for a fancy price of Rs 25 Crores while Chiru's Sye Raa was sold for Rs 20 Crores. Balakrishna's NTR Kathanyakudu is perhaps the first ever Telugu film to fetch such high price. Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi are contemporaries and often have box office clashes in the last two decades. One can't deny the fact that they enjoy a huge fan following across the globe. Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa and Balakrishna's NTR biopic are all set to arrive on Amazon prime. No news can be better for fans of the duo, yeah?.

NTR Kathanayakudu has been directed by Krish and has a dream cast of Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Rakul Preet, Sumanth among others. They will appear in significant roles. The movie will open in theatres around Sankranthi 2019.
