Tollywood's new sensation Vijay Deverakonda is busy with back to back projects. His upcoming film Dear Comrade is being shot on the outskirts of Hyderabad. In this movie, he plays a sportsman while his Geetha Govindam co-star, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as an Australian woman cricketer in the film. However, the film's shooting is progressing well. After completing his portion in Dear Comrade, he will take a small break to move onto his next projects. After Arjun Reddy, the actor has not had the time to relax as he's been flooded with movie offers. He is now yearning for a break to spend some time with his family and friends.

But according to the latest reports, Vijay will soon make his Bollywood entry. Sources close to the Hindi film industry reveal that the young actor would play the role of Krishnamachari Srikanth, the legendary Indian cricketer and former opening batsman. Bollywood director Kabir Khan is directing a film titled 83 chronicling India's Cricket World Cup victory in 1983. Ranveer Singh plays a key role reprising ace bowler and Indian skipper Kapil Dev, we hear. The film will got to sets soon After finishing his current projects, Ranveer will join hands with Kabir Khan to make an iconic film. The director has done exclusive research on the World Cup series in 1983. The pre-production work is on and the director is believed to have read every article that was published during the golden period, sources said. An official announcement will be soon made.

If the ongoing reports are anything to go by, Vijay will mark his Bollywood entry with this film and his fanbase is only going to soar. He made his Kollywood debut with NOTA after which he earned a lot of fans in Tamil Nadu.

Apart from that, Vijay is also busy endorsing brands and ribbon-cutting ceremonies of shopping complexes. Today, he was invited for the grand opening of a shopping complex in Rajahmundry, it is learned.
