Jr NTR Gets Emotional At Kathanayakudu Launch
NTR Kathanayakudu is a biopic about the legendary Telugu actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi after Gouthamiputra Shatakarni. NTR’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna and other actors constitute the cast. The buzz is that the movie glosses over the role of Chandrababu Naidu and manner in which he pulled the rug from his father-in-law and the chief minister's feet.
On Friday the audio launch of the movie took place, and was a star-studded event, with actors from yesteryears and the current generation, gracing the event. NTR’s grandson and Telugu actor Junior Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was present at the event. Talking to the gathering the star was all praise for his grandfather and even compared him with Lord Rama.
Jr NTR, started off with praising his grandfather NTR and said he was present at the function as Andhra Pradesh citizen but not as a family member of the late senior actor. He added "it was NTR, who fought for Telugu identity at that time, when people from AP were known by our neighboring state's identity."
Aravinda star said, "I have heard stories about my grandfather from other family members while growing up. After coming to know his greatness, I started calling him Annagaru instead of calling him grandfather. Later NTR, who got emotional thanked his uncle Balakrishna and director Krish Jagarlamudi for making this movie.
