Padi Padi Leche Manasu Review
Sharwanand is in great form so is Sai Pallavi after delivering back-to-back hits. She was last seen in MCA opposite Nani which did reasonably well at box office. Interestingly, two of her movies have released today. One is Dhanush's Maari 2 in which she plays an auto driver and another Telugu rom-com Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
Maari 2 seems to have opened to mixed reviews although the critics have hailed the perfomances of the lead actors. How has this film (Padi Padi Leche Manasu) worked out for Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand? Read on to find out...
Padi Padi Leche Manasu Story: Surya (sharwanand) falls in love with a medical student Vaishali (Pallavi). However, the two break off as Surya refuses to marry Vaishali. What happens when their paths cross again? Do sparks fly. Watch the film to find out...
Sharwanand shines not only in romantic scenes but also in comedy scenes. His sense of comic timing is apt so is his matured performance in certain scenes.Sai Pallavi has lived the character of Vaishali and exceeds expectations when it comes to performance. The duo manage to woo the audience with their natural acting skills. On the other hand, Sunil, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi offer some comic relief while Priya Raman and Murali Sharma do justice to their roles.
Padi padi Leche manasu Analysis
Hanu Raghavapudi is back with another rom-com. His efforts show when it comes to story, screenplay, comedy, songs which are made interesting. However, the interval scene where the lead couple break-up is not convincing enough. While the director manages to keep the audience hooked with a pacy narration in the first half, he struggles to hold the attention of the audience in the second half. Routine scenes slow down the pace of the film in the second half. Certain scenes are even boring to say the least. while the first half is so beautifully done till the interval bang, the climax seems hurried. The music by Vishal Chandrashekar is praiseworthy while cinematography too is top class and reminds one of Manirathnam movies. Editing too is up to the mark.
Plus
Sharwanand-Sai Pallavi chemistry
Music
Minus
Slow narration in the second half
Weak plot
Interval
Verdict: Can be a one-time watch.
