Did Charan, Jr NTR Recommend Jagapathi Babu For Rajamouli’s RRR?

Jagapathi Babu - Sakshi Post

Is Jagapathi Babu the villain in Rajamouli's RRR? Did you expect that Rajamouli would rope in a Bollywood actor to play the role? Have you thought Rajamouli would introduce new talent in his film? Earlier, we heard two names from across the film industry to play the powerful villain in RRR—it was said that Kannada actor Yash and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn were being considered to play the baddie in Rajamouli's film. And fans of both the actor were thrilled with the news. However, their happiness was short-lived as Yash stated that there was no truth in that news and it was a baseless rumour. Even though we haven’t heard anything from Ajay yet, there’s a new buzz doing the rounds on social media.

Jagapathi Babu has become one of the most sought-after actors to play villain in movies of top Telugu actors like Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Once upon a time, Jagapthi Babu was the crowd puller in the '80s and 90s and would be considered to play the main lead. He later changed his gears and started his second innings in Telugu and Tamil films. Truth be told, he has become a successful villain. Thanks to his first film as Villain in Balakrishna's Legend, he became popular among the audiences. The film became a turning point in his career and opened up huge opportunities for him that offers came flooding to him. It is also being heard that Jagapathi Babu is all set to enter Bollywood too.

This year has turned out to be the best for the actor as he is basking in the success of his back-to-back films—Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Jr NTR's Aravinda Sametha. If you compare Jagapathi Babu’s performance in Rangasthalam and Aravinda Sametha. Jagapathi nailed it in Aravinda Sametha better than Rangasthalam. But Jagapathi enjoyed working with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Jagapathi deserves the credit for making Rangasthalam and Aravinda Sametha blockbuster hits of 2018. There’s no doubt Jr NTR and Ram Charan too were impressed by Jaggu’s performance in their movies perhaps why his name is being heard to play the baddie in Rajamouli’s RRR in which they are working on. Did NTR-Charan recommend Babu’s name to play the baddie in RRR? We aren't sure, how far this news contains the truth. Let's wait for an official confirmation about the same.

Meanwhile, we hear Rajamouli is yet to resume the shoot of RRR. Meanwhile Jr NTR and Ram Charan are busy with their prior commitments. The film is expected to resume shoot by the third week of this month.Watch this space for all the updates.
