Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 is continuing to do unstoppable business at the worldwide box office. Yesterday, it was Rajinikanth's birthday, but the star wasn't in the city to celebrate. His fans arranged several special shows of 2.0 to celebrate their demigod. Rajini meanwhile was spotted in Mumbai at Isha Ambani wedding.

The craze for his films doesn't seem to die anytime soon. As of now, 2.0 is ruling the box office in all languages—Telugu, Hindi and Tamil and even in International markets. Thanks to the filmmakers who released it at a time when it didn't have to battle with any other big ticket films in any of all languages. Not that it mattered for Rajinikanth for his capacity is such. We are sure audiences love any films with content no matter the language as long as the content is relatable and unique. This was evident in 2.0 which made it a massive hit in Hindi.

It is worth mentioning here that the film has marched into the Rs 600 Crore club in just eleven days which was a big achievement for any film to reach this feat. 2.0 was reportedly made with a whopping Rs 645 Crore budget. It seems the makers would reap double profits by end of the film's theatrical run.

On Wednesday, 2.0 collected approximately Rs 60 lakhs and it has grossed Rs 20 Crores gross across Chennai city. 2.0 is the first ever film to have entered this zone. Check out this tweet:

2.0 is a sequel to Robot which was released way back in 2010. Rajinikanth is seen reprising the roles of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti. The makers made new additions to the cast in the sequel which features Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in key roles.
