Surprise Actor in NTR Biopic Kathanayakudu

Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming prestigious film Kathanayakudu, is a biopic of his father NTR. The cast is getting bigger by the day. Rana Daggubati as Chandrababu Naidu, Rakul Preet Singh as Sri Devi, Nithya Menen, Payal Rajput and Hansika were already part of the movie. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is portraying his father Hari Krishna's role.

Now, the latest we hear is that an interesting character which is close to Sr NTR is joining the film. if reports are anything to go by, ace director K Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash Kovelamudi has reportedly agreed to play his father's role in NTR Kathanayakudu. Sources say that the actor-come director has already completed his portions. Though Prakash had made his debut as an actor, he later forayed into direction. He also played a lead role in an english film called Morning Raaga. His recent directorial Mental Hai Kya has completed shooting and the post production work is on. With this film, Prakash is making his Bollywood entry.

Balakrishna will soon resume his shooting since he spent last 15 days for election campaign. The movie is getting ready for theatrical release in January 2019. The film is produced by Balakrishna himself and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The movie will release in two parts which will have the titles Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu. Kathanayakudu represents NTR's film career and the other one deals with his political era. The film has many more surprises yet to be revealed.
