Rajinikanth Latest Record: 2.0 First Indian Movie To Release in 10K Screens
The new offering from Superstar Rajini and Shankar is 2.0 made on a humongous budget of more than 300 crores by Lyca productions. The latest buzz is that 2.o is getting a grand release at the box office, with a whopping 10,000 plus screens worldwide. This is the first Indian movie to achieve this feat. Such records are possible only with Superstar’s movies. In 1991, Rajinikanth’s ‘Thalapathy’ was the first south Indian movie to be released in over 100 screens, which was a great number at that time. After that in 2007 Superstar and Shankar’s ‘Sivaji’ was released in over 1000 screens worldwide.
Rajini in a recent interview said the movie 2.o has a lot to offer to the viewers. This movie is not restricted to fans, it is for everybody who loves watching sci-fi thrillers, a major studio from the New Zealand is behind the visual effects of the movie.
The scale of the movie could be seen in the trailer, which Rajini said is just a small bit from the movie. He also said there is enough humor in the movie balancing the action part. This movie also a comes with a typical message in the end, a mark by Shankar. He also added that Akshay Kumar’s role has come out well and even better than his role of Vaseegarana and Chitti in the movie. Superstar mentioned, “There is a surprise character in the movie, which I can’t reveal now, but audiences are sure to enjoy it ’. So who could it be?
