Iranian Cinema To Make A Grand Entry Into India With All Lights India International Film Festival ( ALIIFF )
* The 4th All Lights India International Film Festival will be held at PVR Cinemas, Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad from Dec 1-4, 2018.
* 10 feature films and 3 short films from Iran will be screened
* The opening movie of ALIIFF 2018 will be the OSCAR Runner of this year’s foreign film category “No Date, No Signature “by Vahid Jalilvand
Hyderabad : Iran is considered as one of the modern hubs of cinematic renaissance. Among the oldest film industries in the world, Iranian cinema has been recognized worldwide for its artistic flavor and has been hailed by contemporary critics for its timelessness.
In recognition of Iran’s superlative contributions to world cinema, the 4th edition of All Lights India International Film Festival will be hosting Iran as the Guest Country with an exclusive section devoted to the Iranian filmmakers. 10 feature films and 3 short films from Iran will be screened at ALIIFF. The opening movie of ALIIFF 2018 will be the OSCAR Runner of this year’s foreign film category “No Date, No Signature “by Vahid Jalilvand. Accompanying the other movies, renowned directors Alireza Raissian, Hossein Farahbakhsh, upcoming multitalented director cum actress Nadira Murray and producer Elaheh Nobakht will be attending the festival. The Head of Producers Guild of Iran, Seyyed Zia Hashemi and Iranian Distributor Mohsen Mosaferchi will also be spending their time with moviemakers at the venue.
A Tribute section to remember the legendary film maker, Abbas Kiarostami his movies like Wind will carry us, Certified Copy and Taste of Cherry will be screened at this year’s festival.
