Fan Following Couldn’t Make Chiranjeevi CM: Top Telugu Actress  

Actress Madhavi Latha has stayed away from film for sometime now. But she is always in the news for various reasons. She forayed into Telugu films in 2008 with Nachavule which starred Tanish in the lead role. At the time, the film did decent business at the box office. Later on, she acted alongside Nani in Snehithuda which tanked at the box office. Her roles in these two films gave her good recognition.

It was being said that Madhavi is a huge supporter of Bigg Boss contestant Kaushal Manda. She used to analyse the show and was seen making positive statement about him in her Facebook posts.

Now, she is back in the news for making some sensational comments on Tollywood King Mega star Chiranjeevi. In an interview to a media channel, Madhavi stated that stardom and fan following is not a new culture to Top actors, The practice of idol worship exists in India since ages and times of Senior NTR and Superstar Krishna.

Fan following cannot be mistaken for popularity.  If that was the case then Megastar Chiranjeevi could have become Chief Minister long back. He failed to become Minister despite the solid fan following. Days are gone when actors were revered as idols. Everyone knows now that they are humans too. She also rubbished rumors and said that she won't be contesting the 2019 elections. She however said he would campaign for BJP as she is a member of the party.
