Namrata In Talks With Netflix For Mahesh Web Series?

Tollywood actors, as we know, go to any extent to woo audiences. Actors are not only limited to big screens but they also want to try their hand at new media. Online streaming apps seem to have caught on and are attracting audiences in a big way. Web series is a new platform to attract viewers, among the ones which are rolling out.

Now A lister stars of Tollywood and Bollywood are gearing up for web series.If reports are anything to go by, our Tollywood star, Mahesh Babu could join the list and is gearing up to test the waters of web series. Yes, what you read is right.

According to sources, Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata, who handles his business end, right from scripts has been in talks with Netflix. Sometime ago, we heard that Mahesh Babu's Spyder film is likely to be available for online streaming app in Netflix. The film didn't make it to Netflix, though. Is Namrata discussing with Netflix to for the telecast of Spyder? An official confirmation about Mahesh Babu's debut in web series is yet to be made.

Speaking about his upcoming films, Mahesh Babu who was last seen in Bharat Ane Nenu which turned out to be a huge money spinner at the box office, is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Maharishi which has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally. So far, the makers have released a teaser from the film which has received a thumping response from movie buffs. Maharishi is slated for release in April 2019.
