So, the first show has begun and guess how the movie has shaped up! Well, here you go, what you have been waiting to know.
U-Turn Telugu Movie Review
Samantha had been promoting the film like crazy and fans too responded in the same way. Now, the film has been granted U/A certificate by the censor board and cut to 128 minutes, which means it's slightly lesser duration when compared to movies like Rangasthalam and Mahanati which stretched to nearly three hours. The duration of U Turn being a thriller is apt.
Now, about the film. The film is a remake of the Kannada hit by the same name. Director Pawan Kumar has released it simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil. Here's what we think of the movie.
All the actors have done justice to their roles not to mention the impressive background score that makes it an edge of seat film. Anirudh's karma theme is noteworthy. Samantha steals the show all the way and has proved that she can pull of any role effortlessly. Looks like she's hit a jackpot here too. Cinematography is good, so is the editing, direction and screenplay. This is a U-turn you must take to make the most of your Ganesh holiday.
Verdict: Not one of your run of the mill stufd. The film joins the league of thriller movies like PSV Garuda Vega and Goodachari. Go watch it!
Rating: 4/5
