Top 10 Telugu movies 2018
Superstar Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan have been stars in Tollywood for decades. Each passing year Mahesh, Pawan Kalyan, and other stars films seem to dominate the box office with success after success. Most of the time, a Mahesh Babu film would be numero uno position among all top ten films of any year. 2018 has seen a slight change and many small budget films have reaped profits at the box office.

Rangasthalam: The film has been completed four to five months ago, but the talk about the film refuses to die down amongst the movie buffs. Rangasthalam has bagged the top position among ten films. Charan was seen playing as a hearing impaired person in the film. Directed by Sukumar and featuring Samantha, Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi in pivotal roles, the film turned out to be a runaway success.

Bharat Ane Nenu: One of the career-best films of Mahesh Babu, he played Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's role in the film. Bollywood actor Kiara Advani made her Tollywood debut with Bharat Ane Nenu. The successful film was directed by Koratala Siva and produced by DVV Danaya.
Mahanati: A biopic of actress of yesteryears, Savitri the movie showcased the ups and down of her life. Keerthy Suresh reprised the role of Savitri in Mahanati, which also starred Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda in lead roles,
Agnyathavaasi: Power star Pawan Kalyan's film Agnyathavasi was released in the beginning of the year 2018 after a lot of hype. But it failed miserably at the box office. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy Suresh were seen in lead roles here.
Geetha Govindam: Vijay Deverakonda's recently released Geetha Govindam seems to be going strong at the box office. Within five days of its release, it has bagged the fifth position among top ten films at the box office. Geetha Govindam is directed by Parasuram and produced by Allu Aravind.
Bhaagamathie: A horror film in which Anushka played a women-centric role. It was her first film afer the period drama of Baahubali.
Tholi Prema: Tholi Prema, a low budget film starring Varun Tej, became a blockbuster hit in the first quarter of 2018.
Awe: A movie with a different theme it had Kajal, Regina and Nitya Menen in key roles. Nani dubbed his voice for the "talking fish" in the film.
Naa Peru Surya: For the first time, Bunny was seen as an army soldier in the film. But, the film didn't live up to audiences' expectations.
Chalo: Naga Shourya and Rashmika's Chalo did good business at the box office. It was a cute love story which was loved by the audiences.
