People are betting big time for Geetha Govindam to break Arjun Reddy's first day day collections at the box office. Arjun Reddy had earned Rs eight crores on its opening day at the worldwide box office. If Geetha Govindam could fetch more than eight crores, then it would turn out to be the second biggest blockbuster hit of Deverakonda.

Geetha Govindam is directed by Parasuram who shot to fame with Solo which featured Nara Rohit in the lead role and was released last year. Rashmika will be seen playing the female lead alongside Deverakonda in Geetha Govindam.

The premiere shows of Geetha Govindam will be held across North America on August 14. The film is slated for release in India on August 15.
