Is Sukumar’s Remuneration For Rangasthalam More Than Charan?

Director Sukumar's Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2018. It is a known fact that Rangasthalam has set a new benchmark at the box office for upcoming flicks. Rangasthalam has dethroned all the films and bagged third position after Baahubali series among highest grossing Telugu films in the USA.

Rangasthalam is a rural revenge drama where Charan was seen playing as a partially deaf man in the film. Charan's fans raved about his performance as Chitti Babu in the film. Recently, Rangasthalam has completed in run of 100 days in 15 centers. The film was produced under Mythri Movie Makers banner. Rangasthalam has become a huge money spinner for filmmakers. Recently, there was news that Sukumar's next three films will also be under Mythri Movie Makers and they have paid huge amount as remuneration to him. So far, there is no official announcement on the same neither from Sukumar or Mythri Movie Makers.

If sources are to be believed, Mythri Movie Makers have paid Rs 7 crores to Sukumar which is apart from his remuneration to the movie. Rangasthalam minted huge profits for the distributors and filmmakers. Sukumar 's direction is the actual reason for Rangasthalam success that could be the reason Mythri Movie Makers have paid huge amount to him, it is said. It seems Sukumar could have got paid more than the hero of the film Ram Charan.

Meanwhile, Sukumar is giving finishing touches to his next script. His next film will be with Megastar Chiranjeevi and it is likely to launched by end of this year. More details about cast and crew of the Megastar film are yet to be revealed.
