No One Helped Megastar Chiranjeevi When He Was Broke: Ram Charan
Mega Power Star Ram Charan, who recently attended the pre-release event of his cousin Niharika Konidela's upcoming movie "Happy Wedding", made some interesting revelations on the heydays of his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi, in the Telugu film industry.
Speaking at the event, Cherry said that he had attended the event only for the affection he has for producer MS Raju, who showed his helping hand to Chiranjeevi when he was in need of money. "In the early 80's, my father was in need of Rs 5000, which was a huge sum of amount back in those days. When he had asked a few of his producers, no one came forward, except for MS Raju," Charan said. "MS Raju helped my father even though he did not work with him. As a son of Chiranjeevi, it is my duty to attend the function," he added.
Charan also said that there are many are talented actors, producers and directors in the industry, but, if one doesn't have a good attitude, it is difficult to succeed.
Ram Charan, who was last seen in Rangasthalam, is currently working with director Boyapati in an untitled action thriller. The film title and the first look poster will be out on August 22, on the occasion of Chiranjeevi's 63rd birthday.
