Dhadak Is A Beautifully Woven Story: Film Critic

Jahnvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak was screened for the censor board members in UAE. Umair Sandhu, the UAE Censor Board member who watched the film has shared his review as he does everytime he watches an Indian movie.

Dhadak, is a remake of the Marathi hit Sairat which features Jahnvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khattar, Ashutosh Rana and Aditya Kapoor. The original film was a superhit and it remains to be seen how the film will fare at the box office. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and Produced by Karan and Hiroo Johar under Dharma productions banner.

Expectations are riding high as one, Dhadak marks the debut of Jahnvi Kapoor. Two, the film is a remake of a blockbuster hit. Also, celebrities in B town feel that if the film does well, it will be a fitting tribute to Sri Devi Kapoor who passed away without watching Jahnvi's debut.

Dhadak Plot: Dhadak is a story of Madhukar (Ishaan) and Parthavi (Janhvi) who fall in love with each other but have to fight their families and society to be with each other.

A special screening of Dhadak was held for select members of the film fraternity at YRF studios in Mumbai. Madhuri Dixit, Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Rekha were among those seen at the screening.
