Shriya Saran Jacks Up Remuneration After Marriage?  

Shriya Saran might sound like a name from yesteryears. Well, it is, considering the actress, an accomplished dancer, is now in her late thirties. Her early box office success Santosham (2002) is now a blur for the younger generation and a distant blip in the psychological radar of the older one. But then that is indeed the norm. In Tollywood, as elsewhere, "the old order changeth, yielding place to new."

Shriya Saran, the small-town girl who grew up in Haridwar, before she went on to study at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi has acted in numerous films in her career span of 15 years with Tollywood top stars Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and other actors.

Recently, she is reported to have married her long-term beau Russian, Andrei Koscheev, a sportsman and entrepreneur on March 12. Latest news doing the rounds is that Shriya continues to be among the most bankable actresses for Tollywood directors.

Sources say that a senior Tollywood actor is looking forward to cast Shriya in his film. She has reportedly been approached to play the role of a leading lady in a top Tollywood hero's film. As sources put it, Shriya is learnt to have demanded a sizeable amount for the film, for a prominent role in the film. More details about this flick are yet to be known.
