Will Race 3 Meet Same Fate As Kaala, Agnyaathavaasi?
Stars like Power star Pawan Kalyan, Salman Khan and Superstar Rajinikanth are A-listers in their respective regions. Looks like, this year hasn't turned out to be fruitful years for these stars. If you observe closely, Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi which was released at the beginning of this year became the biggest flop of the year. Even as the mid year began, Rajinikanth's Kaala and Salman Khan's Race 3 released but the reports have not been impressive. Kaala failed to garner expected response at the box office.
Agnyaathavaasi, Kaala and Race 3 were among the most anticipated films of the year but became duds at the box office on its opening day itself. On top of that, Pawan, Rajini and Salman enjoy a solid fan following across the world. Why these stars' films didn't recreate magic at the box office is a question that needs to be answered. Fans are zapped that the content of all three failed to impress the audiences or rake in substantial moolah at the box office.

On the other hand, Race 3 is directed by Remo D’Souza and jointly co-produced by Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan. It is a long Eid weekend, definitely, Race 3 could rake in moolah at the box office. Salman Khan is also a generous man. If the film fails at the box office, the actor is not the one to step back from compensating for the loss.It happened last year after Salman Khan's Tubelight failed miserably at the box office.
One wonders why these leading stars failed to focus on rich content to enthrall the audiences like their previous films-Pawan's-Atharintiki Daaredi, Salman's Tiger Zinda Hai and Rajini's Robo 2. The films of these stars didn't fare well at the box office due to th choice of routine scripts or wrong genre. As you all know, Content is king at the box office be it small or big-ticket films.
Meanwhile, Salman and Rajini are currently busy with their respective projects. It remains to be seen if these stars will change their strategy to entertain the audiences with their upcoming films. Only time can tell the answers. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan is busy with his political career and he evn quit films after Agnyaathavaasi tanked at the ticket window.
