Engineering Student Held For Selling Drugs

Hyderabad: An engineering student, Ramakrishna, was held by Jeedimetla police, here on Sunday, while selling drugs to unidentified persons.

According to the police, the student and his accomplice were selling paper strips laced with LSD when they were nabbed by the police. Rs 40,000 worth of LSD was recovered from them.

The motorcycle-borne youth were mainly targeting youth and college students, police said. LSD strips are narrow bits of paper laced with drugs preferred by youth for their ease of use in concealing and usage, police said. They are sometimes sold in stamp-sized paper bits.
