Engineering college receives bomb threat

Students went into a tizzy after CMR engineering college near Medchal in Ranga Reddy district received a call of bomb threat on Friday morning, which later turned out to be a hoax.

The college authorities received an anonymous call saying that bombs had been placed on the college premises.

Following the call, the bomb detection and disposable squad conducted a thorough check at the college and no bomb was found.

A case was registered and investigation is going on to trace the caller.
