Employees must get leave to cast their votes : CEO - Sakshi Post

Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said that sanctions on electronic media would be in force in the state in view of the general elections on April 30.

“These sanctions would be in force from 4 pm on Monday to 6 pm on Wednesday,” said the official.

“Exit polls and opinion polls are completely banned during this period. Opinion polls should not be done in the next 48 hours,” said Bhanwar Lal.

“Holiday is declared on April 30 (polling date),” said the CEO.

“All private and public organizations must be closed on the polling date. If the employees can’t get the leave to cast their dates, their owners will be imprisoned for a period of one year,” warned Bhanwar Lal.
