Eluru cops conduct late night house searches

Eluru police conducted exhaustive late night raids in the Pamuladibba region of Eluru in West Godavari district and arrested few persons.

The police also seized some vehicles belonging to the arrested persons.DSP Saritha of Eluru headed the operation and said the operation was aimed at reducing crime rate and to put a check to criminals.
41 Houses belonging to people with criminal record were raided. The operation which started on Wednesday night continued till early hours on Thursday.
