Ellapalli: Nirmal MLA Maheshwar Reddy entry banned

Adilabad: Tension prevailed at Ellapalli of Nirmal mandal on Sunday morning. Locals of Ellapalli obstructed Nirmal MLA Maheshwar Reddy from campaigning for Panchayat polls.

They placed stones on the road to prohibit the MLA from entering their village. Police removed the stones and escorted MLA into the village. There was a rift between the MLAs' supporters and the locals. Ellapalli is the native village of YSRCP leader Indrakaran Reddy.
