Ravi Shankar Prasad Dodges Question On BJP Manifesto | Watch |
New Delhi: Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad lost his cool when he was asked questions on the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) manifesto and decided not to answer anymore questions put forth on a TV news programme on April 8.
The channel's consulting editor who was interviewing the minister had allegedly asked questions relating to missing things in the BJP's manifesto.
Prasad lashed out at the editor asking why he was not asking him anything about the ‘foundation of India’.
"You have not asked anything about India's foundation. Only if you talk to me properly, I will answer your question," the law minister fumed.
The composed anchor repeatedly asked Prasad to rejoin the show, but the minister took off his microphone and paid no heed to the anchor’s request. Prasad went on complaining to the crew who were present in his room.
"Why should I be a part of your show? I will not. If you are a senior editor, I am also a senior minister," Prasad said.
The BJP manifesto was released on April 8.
