Elections to be held in United AP?

“It will take atleast three months for the formation of the states of Telangana and Seemandhra”, Union Minister for Home Affairs Sushilkumar Shinde said on Sunday.
The minister added, "It took about three months for formation of the states of Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Uttarakhand. The same period can be expected for the formation of these two states as well," said Shinde in the interview.
The minister said, “The elections will be held in united Andhra Pradesh only. However, the Election Commission of India is the final authority in the matter of conducting the elections.”
“A study is needed on giving special package to the Seemandhra state. A decision on imposing President’ rule in the state or appointing a successor for Kiran Kumar Reddy will also be taken by high command, soon”, said the minister.
