Election official injured in snake bite, condition serious

An election official was seriously injured in a snake bite at Bandameedapalli village in Kundurthi mandal in Anantapur district.

The official, Anji Babu, came to the polling station on Sunday morning. He could not find the presence of the snake there.

Other staff immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital.

The doctors at the hospital are saying that the condition of the official is serious now.
