As we enter the Valentine's Week, people splurge on their loved ones. Be it chocolates, flowers or special gifts, this week holds special importance with each day holding a significant symbol of love.
While the actual Valentine’s Day is celebrated as the day of love on February 14 every year, people in love usually kick-start the celebrations a week ahead making their partners fell extra special.
Starting off with Rose Day, the Valentine’s Week ends on February 14.

February 7 (Thursday): Rose Day
Roses are usually termed romantic with the Red Rose being the symbol of love and holds major significance during the Valentine's Week. On Rose Day, people give roses to their loved ones. The colour of the roses depict different emotions. While Red Rose holds significance for love, yellow portrays friendship. In case, you have to hint someone that you like him/her more than a friend, pink rose is your choice. White rose depicts peace but is not really a common flower used during this week.
February 8 (Friday): Propose Day
The next day is Propose Day which is a perfect opportunity for one to express their feelings in front of his/her love.
February 9 (Saturday): Chocolate Day
Dedicated to chocolates, the third day of the week can be seen loved ones sharing candies and chocolates as they are the best gifts, particularly for first dates.
February 10 (Sunday): Teddy Day
Giving an adorable feel to the week, the Teddy Day is as simple as it sounds. You gift a soft and cuddly teddy bear to your loved one and make him/her feel special.
February 11 (Monday): Promise Day
Even though promises made are meant to be kept throughout but the Promise Day is just about convincing your partner that you will have a lasting relationship.
