EAS Sarma blasted AP govt on cyclone relief

Former IAS officer E.A.S.Sarma blasted the officials for not restoring even 60 percent of power in Visakhapatnam city which was hit by devastating Hudhud cyclone recently.

“Andhra Pradesh government is conducting 40,000 candles rally with 40,000 persons on the occasion of Diwali. It would have been a better thing if the same candles are donated to those people who are suffering with lack of power,” said the IAS official in his letter to Chief Secretary I.Y.R.Krishna Rao and other higher officials.

The cyclone affected people are blaming the statements of Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu that they could restore power within one week.

The people are saying that they could remove uprooted trees on the roads without the help of the state government.
