DWACRA women in pathetic position : YS Jagan

YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy said that DWACRA women in the state are now in pathetic position.

DWACRA women explained their pathetic position to the Leader of Opposition at Velpula in Pulivendula assembly constituency in YSR Kadapa district on Thursday.

Addressing a meeting in the area, he said, “These DWACRA women have not been paying their arrears for the last three months thinking that their loans would be waived off. Now, they are not in a position to bear even the interests. At the time of election campaigning, the TDP leaders had said that these women need not pay the loan amount. The older people are fearing that they will loss their pensions.”

The DWACRA women requested Y.S.Jagan to fight on behalf of them.

“Chandrababu, who had given too many promises just to get power, did not waive of loans of DWACRA women till now. With this, their lives are in pathetic position. The same is the position of farmers in the state. The chief minister is not thinking of providing older people the three times meals in a day. Forget about the ration cards, Chandrababu is now saying that some of them are bogus ones. The chief minister is trying to impose a cut in 17 lakh ration cards in the state. From nowonwards, getting a ration card will be a difficult one. All committees at the village level are filled with TDP activists,” said the leader of opposition.

Commenting on the oldage pensions, Y.S.Jagan said, “For giving a pension amount of Rs.1,000 per month to 43 lakh pensioners in the state, an amount of Rs.430 crores is needed. For this, an amount of Rs. 3,600 crores is needed per year. But, only Rs.1,300 crores was allotted for the same in the state budget. This only means that Chandrababu started the process of cut in pensions in the budget itself.”
