Drunk Man Rapes Daughter At Knifepoint In Nagpur

Nagpur: In a bizarre incident, a teenage girl was raped by her father at knife-point. The incident which occurred on April 6 but came to light only yesterday when the accused was booked under POSCO Act for the ghastly act.

According to police, the father of the victim was a drunkard and had been molesting his minor daughter for over a year and half. The teenage girl was a student of class XI and was living with her father, mother and elder brother. Her elder sister was married and living separately.

On the fateful day, the 17-year-old victim had come home after completing her examination. No one was at home except for her father. Taking advantage of the situation, the father who was already drunk asked her to undress in front of him. When the victim refused and walked into the bathroom, he tried to stop her. The victim pushed him aside. After coming out of the bathroom, her father assaulted her with a belt and forced himself on her at knife-point.

The victim informed her sister and later to her mother when they came home. They informed the police who have arrested the accused and have booked him for rape.
