DROUGHT IN ANANTAPUR: Four Questions YS Jagan Asked Chandrababu!!

Chandrababu Naidu would go down in the annals of the history as the first ever CM to have assessed drought on a chopper - Sakshi Post

YSRCP chief YS Jagan addressed a mammoth Maha Dharna of farmers at Anantapur to highlight the plight of the farmers. Here are the four key posers of YS Jagan at the Maha Dharna to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who he said has utterly failed in preventing migration of over 5 lakh farmers and farm labourers.

* We have seen ministers inspecting flood damage in choppers. However, Chandrababu Naidu would go down in the annals of the history as the first ever CM to have assessed drought on a chopper. Will you (Chandrababu) open your eyes and see the extent of drought in Anantapur district?

* He has promised to release water into Handri Neeva and assured to re-green Rayalaseema with water from Pattiseema. He is not releasing water into Handri Neeva because the distributary network has not been completed. It would take just Rs 1000 crore for the works. Yet, he has not released water. Srisailam project has enough water. The water level is around 870 feet. Yet, why has Chandrababu not released water into Handri Neeva project?

* Chandrababu Naidu says he has saved crops in Anantapur from drought by using rain guns. He claims to have saved crops in just four days. If that is true, why is Kollu Ravindra, a minister in his cabinet, admit that 90 per cent of the crop was lost due to drought? Is it an attempt to evade paying input subsidy to the farmers? Which is true - your claim of no crop loss or your minister's claim of 90 per cent crop loss?

* Chandrababu claims that the core dashboard of his computer will reveal the rainfall pattern in the whole state. Is his computer's core dashboard not working or is he not interested in knowing the drought situation?
