DRK Engineering College Student Commits Suicide

Hyderabad: A first-year BTech student committed suicide at his hostel in Kukatpally on Wednesday morning.

Ramesh(20), who is pursuing engineering first year at DRK Institute of Technology at Bowrampet near Quthbullapur was staying in a hostel at Addagutta. Ramesh's parents alleged that his suicide was due to the hostel warden's torture. They also said that the warden chided him on the previous day for being late to the hostel.

The police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
