'Donakonda good place to set up capital'
YSRCP MLA of Addanki Gottipati Ravikumar questioned why some leaders were making contradictory statements on the location of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
“Why are they making such statements?” asked the MLA.
He reminded that the Sivaramakrishnan Committee, entrusted with the task of finding out the suitable place, is yet to submit its report.
“Donakonda will be the best place for setting up the capital at a time when the land prices at every place in the state are sky rocketing,” said Ravikumar.
Minister for Municipal Administration Narayana said that they would take a decision on the new capital after getting the report from Sivaramakrishnan Committee.
