Don't link co-op polls with 'T': Sridhar Babu

Civil supplies minister Sridhar Babu on Thursday requested political leaders not to link the Telangana issue with the co-operative society elections.

Referring to Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's statement that Telangana movement did not exist now as TRS stood third in the cooperative elections.

Stating that all the pro-Telangana congress leaders were putting pressure on the Centre, the minister said that the Central government was in favour of Telangana state.
