Dog runs away with a headless body of baby in Kadapa

Kadapa, In a shocking incident, the body of a days old baby girl was seen being carried by a dog near Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Kadapa on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident took place around 11:25 Saturday morning, when the locals spotted a street dog carrying the headless body of a baby girl. They tried to stop the dog to pry away the body from it, but in van. The dog was seen running into a vacant spot surrounded by thorny bushes next to the RIMS compound. When the locals reached the spot, they couldn't find the dog or the dead body.

The baby girl's identity is yet to be ascertained by the hospital staff. But as per reports she was merely a day old. 

When questioned about the incident, Doctor Siddapa Gourav, one of the doctors at RIMS said that there was no way dogs could have entered the premises of the establishment. He added that the bodies of  deceased infants are either handed over to the parents or send to Tadipatri as bio waste for cremation.He said that RIMS will look into the matter.
