The dog, which has acted in the movie has now become a hot topic in Kollywood, especially after one of Rajinikanth's fans offered a huge amount to its trainer, Simon, to buy the dog.

The dog,Mani, has already acted in many Tamil movies but skyrocketed to fame with Kaala as Rajinikanth fondly feeds him on the sets of the movie. Mani became even more popular with the poster showing Rajinikanth caressing the dog.

Rajinikanth, it hardly needs repetition, has a huge fan following all over the world and his dog, expectedly has now become a worldwide sensation. But the dog's trainer is reported to have declined the offer and said, "Mani is a two-year-old now and he recently completed the Kaala shooting in Kodaikanal. Now, the dog is gearing up for its next movie."

"When Rajini sir first saw the dog, he was not sure if Mani could act well in the movie, but now Mani has become the superstar's favourite dog," he added. "Around 30 dogs have been auditioned before zeroing in on Mani," the trainer said.
