Does Smitha Sabharwal want to move out of CMO?

If the grapevine is to be believed, Additional Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office, Smitha Sabharwal, has expressed her desire to go back to districts.

She prefers to work as a district collector than serving in the CMO.

Sources say that she finds the work at the CMO too stressful and wishes to work in the districts. She had earlier worked as the collector of Karimnagar and Medak districts and earned a good name there. It is because of her reputation as a good administrator that she was chosen by Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao for the CMO.

According to sources, she may be asked to head Ranga Reddy district in Hyderabad.

Her husband Akun Sabharwal is now on deputation to the Central Government and is working in S.V.P.National Police Academy.
