Doctor Throws Girlfriend Out Of Train After Injecting Sedatives

Bengaluru: A 22-year-old nurse from Belagavi (belgaum) was killed after she was thrown out of a train by her boyfriend on Wednesday.

The victim, Poonam, a native of Ahmed Nagar in Maharashtra was working as a nurse in a private hospital in Belagavi. The girl fell in love with Sunil, who is a doctor in the same nursing home. After being in a relationship over an year, Poonam is believed to asked Sunil to marry her.

Sunil, who didn't want to wreck his relationship with family started avoiding Poonam after the marriage proposal. When she continued to force him for marriage, the doctor thought hatched a plan to get rid of her. He then plotted to kill her taking help of his brother. The duo took Poonam to Goa on a holiday and after boarding the train, they injected sedatives and when she fell unconscious, they threw her out of the train.

The police registered a case of accidental death but at the behest of Poonam's parents, the police interrogated Sunil who confessed to killing her. He was arrested and sent for remand.
