DL Ravindra Reddy tricks TDP

DL Ravindra Reddy tricks TDP - Sakshi Post

DL Ravindra Reddy is one of a kind politician. But, this election season, he seems to be missing in action.

The former minister created quite a stir when he announced his exit from Congress. He said he would join Telugu Desam Party, but never formally became a TDP member. Though not a formal member of the TDP, he did address a party meeting. All this was music to TDP ears and Mydukur's TDP candidate Putta Sudhakar Goud was on cloud nine thinking DL would help him register a facile win from Mydukur in Kadapa.

During the interregnum, DL managed to convince the TDP leadership and got TDP tickets for his acolytes in the MPTC, ZPTC and municipal ward elections. Once the polling is over, he quietly announced that he would go on a vacation to the US. If TDP manages to win local body elections, it would be his men who would actually win. So, he has helped rehabilitate his followers and managed to keep away from TDP campaigning.

DL's mercurial ways sure have put the TDP in a quandary. The party knows not if DL Ravindra is a friend or a foe.
