DL questions govt's clean chit to Dharmana

Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy, has questioned the the government's clean chit to Dharmana Prasada Rao saying that the minister was accused and charge-sheeted by CBI.

The minister said that he explained his objection to Chief Secretary on the cabinet decision of rejecting a CBI plea for prosecution of Dharmana. He however, expressed doubt if the file had reached the governor.

Referring to the health issues that plague the state he lamented that some doctors only for monetary gains and had least regard for treating the ailing poor. He also mentioned that the deaths of mothers and children were higher when compared to others states.
