Divya was Killed by Step-uncle

Vizag: The seven-year-old Divya who had gone missing since Tuesday in Devarapally in Vishakapatnam was found dead in a nearby quarry.After preliminary enquiries, police took the girl's step-uncle Shekhar into custody on Wednesday. However, he first pleaded innocent, but later confessed to having killed the girl. The police recovered the body of the girl from a quarry on Thursday.

It is learnt that the girl is the daughter of one Murugan, a Tamilian settled in the area for years, from his first wife who left him and went back to her native place. Then Murugan married another woman in the village and the killer is her cousin. An investigation is going on in various angles.
