* Shravani takes to media
Video: Chakri's wife will speak out on dowry harassment case
Barely a day after noted music director Chakri died, ugly differences within his family and disputes over properties left behind by the music director erupted.
Chakri's wife Shravani approached the State Human Rights Commission and filed a harassment case against her in-laws.
In the complaint letter she submitted to the SHRC, she alleged that her in-laws and Chakri's sisters have not even allowed her access to her belongings and couldn't even allow her to change clothes.
When the media persons asked her response on this, an inconsolable and visibly upset Sravani refused to comment. Breaking down before the media, Sravani said she was not in a position to speak on the issue now and would reveals everything after performing all the post-funeral rituals of Chakri. "He left this world just three days back. His soul should rest in peace. I will speak on this after eleven days when the post-funeral rites are completed. I am not a position to speak anything, she said.
Sources close to Chakri's family said that Chakri was supporting at least three families and that he was also taking care of the families of his sisters. Chakri's mother and sisters were keeping away from Chakri for quite sometime and this has greatly upset Chakri. Sources also said that Chakri confided his predicament with some close friends.
It may be recalled that Chakri's wife had filed a case of dowry harassment against Chakri, his parents and siblings.
