Disillusioned With Government, ZPTC Member Resigns From TDP
Anatapur: A ZPTC member belonging to TDP resigned on Thursday at the local party meeting alleging that the ruling party has not allowed her to develop her area in the past three years. "There is no coordination between the party members and wherever I go, I am being dishonored by the TDP leaders. I wanted to get out of this dirty politics," the D. Heerehal ZPTC member Padma wailed while speaking at the meeting.
"I was born in a poor family and my husband is working as a private teacher but we never tried to cheat or earn money through illegal means," she said. "It's been many years since the developments were done in the village. I felt so embarrassed as I have not done anything for the society. Though I had taken the matter to the higher-ups in the party, no one had responded," she added.
While Padma was going to submit the resignation letter to the minister Paritala Sunitha, several leaders tried to stop and convince her after the meeting. The leaders are still trying to resolve the issue and her resignation is yet to be accepted.
