Dipa Denies Rumours of Returning the BMW

Agartala: Ace gymnast Dipa Karmakar denied rumours that she plans to return the BMW car gifted to her by master batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
Stating that it is privilege to be presented a gift by Sachin Tendulkar, she said there are no plans to return the car. She clarified that there is no BMW car showroom in Agartala for its maintenance and that she has conveyed the same to the Hyderabad Badminton Association (HBA).
It may be recalled that Dipa narrowly missed a medal in the recently held Rio Olympics. However, recognising her performance the HBA gifted Dipa and other star performers at the Olympics with BMW cars.
