Dinner at Rajbhavan: Babu attends, KCR skips

Citing ill health as reason, Telangana CM KCR kept away from the dinner hosted by Governor ESL Narasimham in honour of President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday.

KCR, who spent the last four days in his farm house, was in the capital city to welcome President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday.

On Tuesday, KCR cancelled all his official engagements on Tuesday citing fever as the reason. He limited himself to his camp office.

Interestingly, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was present at the dinner. Sources opine that KCR was possibly trying to avoid meeting Chandrababu in the wake of the Cash for Vote scam. Interestingly, this is Chandrababu’s first visit to the Rajbhavan after the scam broke out and the TDP targeted Governor ESL Narasimhan.
